1995 was the first year for the Roush Mustang and this is the Stage 3 level which contains all the Stage 1 & 2 levels plus a carbon fiber hood, Roush three-piece dual plenum intake, 65mm throttle body, Fuel rails, high flow air filter, valve covers and optional ported aluminum Ford GT40 heads. 1994 through 1997, Roush Performance supplied these parts to dealers and third parties to create the Roush Mustang. Starting in 1997, Roush started to do the conversions themselves. This Roush is owned by Jose Valverde and is our Attitude Of The Week starting December 25th, 2018. Thank you Jose for helping us correct our errors in our early history of the Roush Mustang.

The 1995 Stage 1 came with Roush dash plaque, front spoiler, rear valance, side skirts & exhaust, 18 inch Roush wheels, Roush rear wing, decal package, trunk tool kit, and Roush floor and trunk mats. The Stage 2 includes all the Stage 1 features plus front & rear anti-roll bars, front and rear performance springs, front & rear adjustable Koni struts, and pinion snubber. The Stage 3 includes all the Stage 1 & 2 features plus a carbon fiber hood, Roush three-piece dual plenum intake, 65mm throttle body, fuel rails, high flow air filter, valve covers, and optional ported aluminum Ford GT40 heads.

This is a Black 2012 Mustang Roush Stage 3 Hyper Series with the Mat It Mango (orange) accents. It is serial number 2 of 25 built. Under the hood is a Super Charged 5.0L V8 that pumps out over 540hp. It is connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. Other parts of the Roush package include 20-inch Premium Hyper Black wheels, Roush premium racing exhaust, Roush racing suspension package, Roush leather seats, Roush premium upgraded brake package, Roush short throw shifter, Roush gauges, Roush vent boost gauge pod, Roush lighted door sill plates, Roush front billet grille, and Roush pedal covers. "Mat It Mango" is only one of the Hyper Series models for 2012. The others are Roush also made three other Hyper Series models - "Punch It Purple", "
Gas It Green", and "
Launch It Lemon".

Around the rear is the Roush faux gas cap and stage 3 emblem with the orange 'Mat It Mango' accent color. The square exhaust tips haven't been installed on this one yet. They are in the trunk - the dealer installs them.

This ID plate is found under the hood. It shows the serial number of 2 out of 25 built. It has the 'Mat It Mango' accents. The horsepower is 540 while the torque is 465.

The seats are Roush and black leather. Check out the orange 'Mat It Mango' colored stitching on the seats and door panels. It has the stage 3 emblem embroidered in the seat back with the orange 'Mat It Mango' accent.

The Roush short throw shifter is also stitched in orange and the shift pattern is colored orange 'Mat It Mango' as well. The interior ID plate is just ahead of the shifter. We have a larger shot in the next photo.
